Subterranean termites cause damage to wood which results in losses. Poisonous plants contain active compounds that can cause immediate or gradual pain or death. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of poisonous plant extracts of tabar-tabar (Costus specious) and langge (Homalomena propinqua Ridl) flowers on environmentally friendly termite mortality. This research used the mortality method, western paper test, data analysis of differences in the influence of behavior using a completely randomized factorial design. The results of the analysis showed that tabar-tabar flower extract (Costus specious) had no significant effect, while langge extract (Homalomena propinqua Ridl) had a significant effect on subterranean termites because the extract had a strong effect on subterranean termites.en_US
