A sale and purchase agreement is legally required to meet the element of competence of the parties. The sale and purchase of online game vouchers committed by minors is not only associated with the fulfillment of competence element, but it is also associated with the fact that this action is committed by under aged children to play online games which are inappropriate for their age as well as these vouchers are used for the online games which are also prohibited by law. The problems of this research are how about the form of sale and purchase of online game vouchers, how about the validity of sale and purchase of online game vouchers committed by minors, and how about the urgency of legal protection against the purchase of online game vouchers for minors. This research employs normative juridical research method. The source of data is secondary data consisting of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. Library research is used as data collection technique with document as data collection tool. Data obtained are analyzed by qualitatively. The results indicate that the form of sale and purchase of online game vouchers can be done conventionally or electronically. Conventional sale and purchase is done by purchasing vouchers from offline stores while electronic sale and purchase is done through a special game store platform or e-commerce. In purchasing online game vouchers, it must be ensured that buyers meet and agree to the terms and conditions. Game voucher purchase done by minors is legal under the Civil Code and Law No.71 of 2019 on electronic system operators as long as the parties do not dispute the non-fulfillment of the legitimate requirements of a person's competence. Thus, purchase cancellation can be requested. This is in accordance with the provisions of Article 1331 of the Civil Code. However, the sale and purchase cannot meet just cause if online game vouchers are used to access games that are not appropriate for their age and the game contains elements of pornography, gambling, and violence. Therefore, it violates morality and laws and regulations. The urgency of protection against game voucher purchase is the attempt to protect the rights of children against negative impacts or implications that arise such as negative influences on their physique, and psychology, as well as criminal behaviors. Such legal protection must be realized by collaborating with government as a regulator, companies, parents and the community.en_US
