Eksplorasi Tumbuhan Beracun pada Hutan Kemasyarakatan Desa Rondaman Kecamatan Halongonan Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara

Abstract

Toxic plants have great potential to provide benefits for daily needs. As a society known for its high local knowledge, Indonesian people can utilize toxic plants according to their designatio, one of which is as a pesticide. Pesticides can include toxic materials used to kill living things that disturb plants, livestock and so on that humans seek for their welfare. The uses of pesticides is usually done with other ingredients, for example mixed with oil and water to do this, some also use powder to make it easier to dilute or spread and spray it, the powder is mixed. This study aims to identify toxic plants species in the Rondaman Padang Lawas Utara Village Community Forest, analyze the secondary metabolism of the plants species fond by direct surveys to the field assisted by local people who are experts on toxic plants, carry out vegetation analysis and also conduct tests Phytochemicals. The results showed that there were six types of toxic plants, such as bunga bangkai (Amorphopallus paeoniifolius), Andor urasigung (Alnus acuminata), Banar dua (Peuraria montana), Tuba (Derris eliptica), Amis amisan (Houttuynia cordata) dan Jelatang Ayam (Laportea interupta).
