Apiscerana honey is a natural ingredient which is rich with antioxidants such as flavonoids, monophenols, polyphenols, and vitamin C13. These antioxidants are important to protect cells from oxidation damage. Nanogel formulation are chosen for their soothing and moisturizing properties, and its ability to regulate particle size as well as to respond to changes such as pH, temperature, and ion strength. This research aims to evaluate the use of apiscerana honey in the form of nanogels that causes skin irritation. Quasi-experimental methods are used to determine whether there are signs of erythema and edema on the skin. The research population and sample are the students who are physically and spiritually healthy and aged over 18 years, with a total of 20 people selected using the convenience sampling technique. The results of this research indicate that 20 samples (100%) who take skin irritation test show a slight erythema but it does not cause edema. Therefore, the research concludes that skin irritation test on human skin irritation causes very mild irritation but is still safe to use.en_US
