Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Perilaku Tidak Aman pada Pekerja di Dermaga Pt Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Belawan Tahun 2024

Abstract

The company's continuous growth, utilizing various advanced technologies, often comes with increased workplace accidents. Workplace accidents are caused by 88% of unsafe behavior. Secondary data recapitulating the K3 patrol reports for the fourth quarter of Branch Belawan in 2023 showed that 88.63% of workers exhibited hazardous behavior. Human behavior plays a crucial role in causing workplace accidents. Human behavior is influenced by predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors. This research aims to identify factors relationship between unsafe behavior on workers at the dock of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Belawan in 2024. This research uses a quantitative analytical method with a cross-sectional research design. The sample size was taken purposively, consisting of 83 workers. Data analysis methods used were univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using Kendall's tau test, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression. Data collection was conducted through interviews and direct observation using questionnaires. The analysis results showed a relationship between knowledge (p=0.000 < p=0.05), attitude (p=0.000 < p=0.05), availability of PPE (p=0.027 < p=0.05) and K3 training (p=0.006 < p=0.05), and no relationship between the safety patrol with unsafe behavior among workers at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Belawan in 2024. Attitude variables were the most significantly associated factor with unsafe behavior among workers at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Belawan in 2024, with a risk of 0.066 times for exhibiting hazardous behavior. It is recommended that workers be more disciplined and conscious in enhancing safety knowledge through training provided by the company.
