Analisis Pendapatan dan Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Budidaya Ternak Kambing Pasca Erupsi Gunung Sinabung di Kecamatan Tiganderket Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

The eruption of Mount Sinabung in Karo Regency caused huge losses in agriculture and livestock. Tiganderket sub-district is one of the locations affected by the Sinabung eruption. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of farmers, farmers' income, and livestock business development strategies. The research method used was snowball sampling. Parameters observed were farmer income, R/C ratio, BEP, and Swot Analysis. The results showed that farmers were predominantly aged 41-50 years with a high school education level equivalent. The income earned was Rp.4,320,169/year. The business strategy used is Growth Oriented Strategy.
