    Abstract
Low back pain is a complaint that is dominantly felt by workers, especially workers who work in the industrial sector. LBP complaints are complaints of pain felt in the lower back that originates from the spinal cord and muscles caused by giving too heavy a workload, repetition, and the wrong work attitude triggers excessive muscle contraction. This study aims to determine the factors associated with low back pain complaints in brick workers in Pematang Sijonam Village, Perbaungan SubDistrict. The research was conducted quantitatively with a cross sectional research design on 35 brick workers using purposive sampling technique. This study used the chi square test to see the relationship of the factors associated with low back pain complaints. Measurement of the level of low back pain complaints in this study using The Pain and Distress Scale (PAD) questionnaire. The results showed that the number of brick workers who experienced lbp complaints was 29 workers (82.9%) and those who did not experience complaints were 6 workers (17.1%). Based on the results of statistical tests obtained that the working period (p value = 0.135) and length of work (p value = 0.698) which means there is no significant relationship to low back pain complaints in brick making workers, while the variable workload (p value = 0.006), repetition (p value = 0.039), and work attitude (p value = 0.014) there is a significant relationship with low back pain complaints in brick workers. Brick workers are advised to adjust the workload, repetitions performed while working, and work attitudes during work, by doing muscle stretching movements before work, between work, and after work, and improving the work tools used to fit the size of the worker's body, then complaints of low back pain can be minimised or prevented
