Perilaku Personal Hygene Remaja Putri pada saat Menstruasi di SMS Swasta PAB 5 Klumpang Kebon

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of change from childhood. During this period, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional maturities occur to prepare themselves to become adults. Personal hygiene is a treatment done to maintain independently, it indicates a disturbance in self-care. This research aims to identify Personal hygiene behavior of female adolescents during menstruation at PAB 5 private Hight School of Klumpang Kebon. This quantitative research is conducted using descriptive observational design with a total sample 37 people. The research result condludes that female adolescent in PAB 5 Private High School of Klumpang Kebon. who are at the age of 17 years are 30 people (81%) and in Class XII Mia 2 are 20 people (54,1%). Additionally, the findings indicate that the majority of adolescents in PAB 5 Private High School of Klumpang Kebon have a good level of knowledge namely 37 people (100,0%), and the majority of them practice personal hygiene during menstruation, namely 37 people (100,0%). It is hoped that the next research will be able to dig deeper related to the habits of young women in conducting personal hygiene during menstruation which may have an influence on the behavior of young women in conducting personal hygiene during menstruation.
