Pengetahuan dan Sikap tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih Sehat Anak Sekolah Dasar di SDN 013862 Punggulan

Abstract

Knowledge and attitudes are predisposing factors that enable students to implement Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). The aim of PHBS in schools is to inspire the entire school community to adopt healthy behaviors in order to create a healthy school environment. This study aims to identify the knowledge and attitudes towards the clean and healthy living behavior program among elementary school children at SDN 013862 Punggulan. This research employs a descriptive quantitative design. The study population comprises 145 individuals, with a sample size of 59 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The results indicate that the majority of respondents have good knowledge (86%) and all respondents have a positive attitude (100%). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that respondents’ knowledge is categorized as good and their attitudes are categorized as positive. Future researchers are expected to provide health education during the course of their studies.
