Abstract

This research is based on the birth of the Community Conservation Program in Riau Province. This program was formed by the KPH Tasik Besar Serkap Riau in collaboration with the company and invited the community. Environmental issues are an issue that is very concerned by developed countries, including developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Community Conservation Program on environmental improvement in Pelalawan Regency, Pelalawan Village, Pelalawan District, This research uses the method The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, namely research that describes in a narrative manner based on research data that is examined objectively from the results of interviews, observation and document review, to see how the effectiveness of the Community Conservation Program on environmental improvement in Provinsi Riau, specifically in Kabupaten Pelalawan. People who feel directly from this program give their opinions about the course of the Community Conservation program. In this case, effectiveness analysis is used to answer William N Dunn's theory, on how we can assess the effectiveness of a program policy whether its implementation is in accordance with existing policies.
