Kualitas Hidup Lansia dengan Hipertensi di Desa Klambir V Kebun Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Elderly are individuals typically aged 60 years or older. One common health issue among the elderly is increased susceptibility to various diseases due to reduced body, endurance as well as decreased efficiency of homeostatic mechanism particularly the cordiovascular system, which can lead to hypertension. Hypertension disease affects quality of life. The qualify of life is influenced by a broad and complex element. Quality of life indicators according to WHO, consist of 4 domains. 77,e research aims to describe the life quality of the elderly with hypertension in Desa Klambir V Kebun Deli Serdang Regency in general and based on 4 domains of life quality. The research population consists of the elderly with hypertension. This quantitative research Is conducted using a descriptive survey design. The research samples are made up of 49 respondents with, hypertension. collected using incidental sampling technique, and analyzed using frequency distribution analysis. The research results show that the majority of elderly with hypertention have a moderate quality of life. namely 10 respondents (40.8%). Based on the physical domain. the majority of respondents have a moderate quality of life, namely 18 respondents (36.7%). Based on the psychological domain, the majority of respondents have moderate quality of life, namely 21 respondents (44.9%). Based on the social domain, the majority of respondents have a moderate quality o flife, namely 16respondents (53.1%). Based on the environtmental domain the majority of respondents have a moderate quality of life, name 19 respondent (38.8%).
