dc.description.abstract | Aek Singolot River located in Purba Baru, Mandailing Natal Regency is a flow from the
meeting of the upstream river with Sorik Marapi hot water. Aek Singolot River is
thought to be indicated by pollution due to the activities of residents living along the
river which causes a decrease in river water quality. The purpose of this research is to
analyze the quality of river water (H2S, TSS and Hardness), analyze the spatial
distribution pattern of water quality with Geographic System Information (GIS)
application and analyze the status of water quality. The method of determining river
water quality used in this study is the pollution index method. Based on the calculation
results with the pollution index method, the water quality status of Singolot River Aek
still meets the quality standards. The result of the calculation of the IP value of point 1
is 0.165359, point 2 is 0.174559, point 3 is 0.143139 and point 4 is 0.422115. | en_US |
