Analisis Dampak Pariwisata Berkelanjutan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat di Danau Lau Kawar Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

This research is to find out the influence of sustainable tourism instruments on Lau Kawar Lake, namely the number of tourist groups, natural potential and facilities on community income and community welfare on Lau Kawar Lake. This research uses an explanatory type of approach. The population in this study were tourists who were traveling on Lau Kawar Lake and also people who were carrying out economic activities on Lau Kawar Lake. The sample in this study consisted of 60 samples with specifications of 30 samples of tourists and 30 samples of people around Lake Lau Kawar. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Primary data collection techniques were carried out using interview and questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique is using path analysis with three structural equations. The results of this research show that in the one-variable structure model the number of tourist groups, natural potential and facilities have positive and significant effects on community income simultaneously. In the two-variable structure model, the number of tourist groups, natural potential, facilities and community income have a positive and significant effect on community welfare simultaneously. In the three structuree model, community expenditure has a positive and significant effect on community welfare. The suggestion in this research is that the natural potential and facilities at Lau Kawar Lake must be increased and the government's role in managing Lau Kawar Lake tourism is needed so that Lau Kawar Lake tourism attracts the maximum number of tourist groups and increases community welfare by increasing community income with the assumption C=Y.
