dc.description.abstract | Work fatigue is one of the occupational health and safety problems that can be a risk factor for accidents at work. Symptoms of fatigue encountered in personnel are yawning, wanting to lie down, difficulty thinking, chaotic thoughts and lack of concentration. This study aims to see the effect of individual characteristics and blood hemoglobin levels on work fatigue at the Raya Health Center, Timbang Galung Village, Pematangsiantar City. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used total sampling, the population in this study were all health workers at the Raya Health Center, Timbang Galung Village, Pematangsiantar City, totaling 34 health workers, the sample obtained was 34 respondents. The analysis test in the study used chi-square. Based on univariate analysis obtained the results that age 20-40 years who experienced mild fatigue (11,8%) age 41-60 years (50%) experienced severe fatigue, female gender who experienced mild fatigue (23,5%), D3 education (8,82%) and S1 education (14,7%), working mass 0-15 years (8,82%) and working mass 16-30 years (14,7%), abnormal hemoglobin levels (76.5%) and normal (23.5%), severe fatigue (76.5%) and mild (23.5%). Bivariate analysis using chi-square with a 95% confidence degree, it was found that there was no effect of age (p=0.679), gender (p=0.551), education (p=0.666), work mass (p=0.693) but there was an effect of blood hemoglobin levels (p=0.001) on work fatigue. It is recommended to the health workers of the Raya Health Center, Timbang Galung Village, Pematangsiantar City to stretch the muscles between jobs or when resting so that blood circulation is stable so that the body in a state of work that is too long can cause workers to get tired easily | en_US |
