Studi Pengaruh Variasi Jarak Elektroda dan Laju Alir terhadap Kinerja Reaktor Elektrokoagulasi Kontinu untuk Penyisihan Nitrat
Study The Effect of Variation of Electrode Distance and Flow Rate on The Performance of Continuous Electrocoagulation Reactors for Nitrate Removal
Abstract
The problem of liquid waste has always been an important issue because of
its
characteristics which can cause environmental pollution, one of which is nitrate. One
technology for removing nitrate levels in liquid waste is electrocoagulation. In this study,
nitrate removal was carried out using a continuous reactor electrocoagula tion method
using iron (Fe) electrodes with variations in electrode distance and flow rate. The results
of the study showed that the highest nitrate removal efficiency obtained was 86.26% in
the treatment of 2 cm electrode distance and flow rate. 100 mL/mi nute.
