dc.description.abstract | Adolescent defined as the transitioning period from childhood to adulthood and also a period of growth and development physically, psychologically, intellectually, socially and sexually. Recently, a lot of the adolescent engage in a risky sexual behavior. There is various reason for this behavior including use of social media, knowledge and attitudes. The aim of this study is to identify the relationship of the use of social media, knowledge and attitudes with adolescent sexual behavior at SMA HKBP Sidorame in 2024. The method used in this study was quantitative analysis research with a cross sectional study design. The population were 50 active students of SMA HKBP Sidorame where the entire population became the research subject. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and then analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the use of social media with adolescent sexual behavior at SMA HKBP Sidorame in 2024 with P-value = 0,003 < α = 0,05. Also there is a relationship between knowledge with adolescent sexual behavior at SMA HKBP Sidorame in 2024 with P-value = 0,003 < α = 0,05 and there is a relationship between attitudes with adolescent sexual behavior at SMA HKBP Sidorame in 2024 with P-value = 0,003 < α = 0,05. The conclusion of this research there was a significant relationship between the use of social media, knowledge and attitudes with adolescent sexual behavior. Suggestions from researchers for the school in hope to minimize adolescent sexual behavior by providing reproductive health education as well as counseling and guidance regarding the use of social media | en_US |
