| dc.description.abstract | Education creates an optimal learning environment and an active learning process for
students to develop their potential and help them achieve goals in enhancing knowledge and
morals, as well as building their personalities. Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Boarding School
is a school that offers an optimal environment in character education. The purpose of this
study is to design Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan Boarding School that can fulfill educational
needs, provide a good learning environment, safety and security, as well as explore
architectural elements that support the theme. The research method is conducted using a
qualitative method, through literature studies, case studies of similar themes, and direct
observation of educational activities in the field. The application of design with the theme of
metaphorical architecture, which uses the basic form of a rose, is expected to visually depict
the function of the building. Thus, observers and users of the building are expected to clearly
obtain ideas and impressions of the activities that occur inside through the mass form,
building facade and site plan, as well as structures inspired by the shape of rose petals and
the use of warm colors, the school's design creates a friendly and inspiring atmosphere.
Furthermore, this metaphor reinforces the message about growth and beauty within
students, providing a deep and meaningful learning experience. | en_US |
