A youth center is a facility for teenagers to gather, socialize, and engage in various activities such as arts, sports, education, and recreation. The lack of such facilities leads to the limited development of teenagers in terms of sports and arts. This can contribute to teenage delinquency due to the lack of control over their leisure activities. The design of a youth center is needed to reduce teenage delinquency issues and to help develop the potential of teenagers in the city of Padang. This study aims to explore the design aspects and themes of youth center buildings. This research utilizes qualitative methods by conducting literature reviews and observations. Literature reviews are conducted to determine the types and typologies of youth center buildings as well as considerations related to the requirements and design standards of youth centers. This design incorporates the metaphorical architectural theme of waves into the space, form, facade, color, and material, depicting the complexity of emotions and the journey of teenage growth through the use of curved elements with varying heights.en_US
