    Abstract
The continuous increase in blood pressure is a precursor to hypertension and other heart diseases. One of the factors contributing to elevated blood pressure is Occupational stress experienced by employees. Occupational stress can be influenced by job conditions, roles within the job, interpersonal relationships, career development, and external factors. This study aims to examine the relationship between Occupational stress and increased of blood pressure among water meter recording worker at PDAM Tirtauli in 2024. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design. The population consists of all 32 water meter readers at PDAM Tirtauli. The sampling method used in this study is total sampling, resulting in a sample size of 32 workers. Data collection was conducted using the Stress Diagnosis Survey (SDS) questionnaire to assess the level of Occupational stress, while blood pressure data was obtained through measurements taken by nurses using a sphygmomanometer. The analysis performed in this study is the chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between Occupational stress and increased blood pressure with a p-value of 0.001. It is recommended that PDAM Tirtauli conduct socialization related to the main tasks of meter readers to customers, clarifying that they are not obliged to know and explain water-related issues. Employees are encouraged to manage stress and utilize their leave appropriately
