dc.description.abstractWorkers who don't do enough physical activity and sit too long at work are the 4th cause of death in the world. Workers who sit for more than 3 hours/day increase the risk of premature death by 3.8%. Workers' lack of knowledge regarding physical activity can be one of the factors in workers' lack of physical activity. Health promotion that includes K3 (Occupational Safety and Health) aspects with appropriate media in companies, especially physical activity, can help reduce losses due to health problems. This research aims to compare the differences in the effectiveness of health promotion in the workplace through video media and leaflets on workers' knowledge about the importance of physical activity. The data analysis method used in this research is a bivariate analysis using the multilevel Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests based on decision-making with a p-value and a confidence index of 95%. The test results show that the average negative rank value is 4.00 and the average positive rank value is 9.67 before and after the intervention, an increase of 5.67 points, while in leaflet the average negative rank value is 0.00 and the average of positive rank value was 6.50, an increase of 6.50 points. The average rank value for knowledge of video media was 24.63 points and the average rank value for knowledge of leaflet media was 16.38 points with a p-value of 0.019 < 0.005 Thus, there is a significant difference between the average results of intervention with video media and leaflet media. This research concluded that there is a difference in the effectiveness of the influence of health promotion in the workplace through video media and leaflets on workers' knowledge regarding physical activity at PT. London Sumatra Indonesia, where it is known that video media is more effective. The advice that can be given is that K3 promotion in future companies can be carried out using appropriate and effective mediaen_US
