Early Warning Score System (EWSS) is a request for assistance to overcome early patient health problems formed in a system. Nurse decision making is a complex process with the potential to affect the quality of care provided. This study aims to analyze tbe relationship between the accuracy of filling out the EWSS fonn with nurse decision making. The type of research used is quantitative research using retmspective descriptive research design with cross-sectional descriptive research design. "l11e sampling technique was purposive sampling. Respondents of this study were executive nurses in the Rindu A and Rindu B Inpatient rooms of the H. Adam Malik Medan Central General Hospital, totaling 148 respondents. ·111e instnunents used were a standardized EWSS monitoring form at H. Adam Malik Central General Hospital and nurse decision making adopted from Ekwantoro's questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Spearman rank test and the correlation coefficient was
+0.470 with a significance value of p-value=0.000. 1t was concluded that there is a relationship between the accuracy ofEWSS form filling and nurses' decision making, which is quite strong and w1idirectional. It is recommended for nurses to improve in depth understanding of EWSS form filling so that it is appropriate in making decisions to carry out nursing care.
