The problem that occurs at France Bakery is that there are remaining unsold sandwiches, and the amount of each sandwich produced is not an appropriate amount to obtain maximum profit based on the limited raw materials available. The purpose of this research is to optimize production to maximize profits and minimize production process costs by using goal programming with the approach method. The results of calculations using this method showed that the optimal number of sandwiches produced was 735 packages of chocolate flavored bread, 470 packages of green bean flavored bread, 470 packages of red bean flavored bread, 467 packages of Tiramisu flavored bread, and 98 packages of chocolate melon flavored bread with the same profit. obtained in the amount of Rp. 7.200.000. By using goal programming and the simplex method approach, profits increase by 10.1% or Rp. 727.000 from the initial profit data for one month.en_US
