Pengaruh Karakteristik Ibu Hamil dan Pelayanan Kesehatan terhadap Pemanfaatan Antenatal Care di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tanjung Rejo Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Utilization of antenatal care is one of the efforts to reduce maternal mortality rate and has become a target of the SDGs in the next few years. Services that use health facilities and are aimed at pregnant women to face pregnancy and prepare for childbirth. This study was conducted in the working area of the Tanjung Rejo Public Health Center, Deli Serdang Regency in 2024. The type of research used was cross sectional. Sampling was done using accidental sampling technique, the research sample amounted to 96 people. Data collection methods were obtained by filling out questionnaires through direct interviews with pregnant women, and other supporting data through the Tanjung Rejo Public Health Center and the Deli Serdang Health Office. Data were analyzed univariately, bivariately, and multivariately using the Chi-Square test (p<0.05) and multiple logistic regression (p<0.05). The results showed that there was a variable relationship between age, education level, parity, knowledge, attitude, availability of resources, accessibility, and health worker services on the utilization of antenatal care in the Tanjung Rejo Public Health Center working area and the influence of the variables of education level, parity, and attitude on the utilization of antenatal care in the Tanjung Rejo Public Health Center working area. The advice given to pregnant women in the Tanjung Rejo Public Health Center work area is that they are expected to carry out pregnancy checks to the nearest health service to avoid and reduce the risks that can occur to the mother and fetus during pregnancy and the advice given to the Tanjung Rejo Public Health Center is expected to pay more attention to the number of antenatal care visits in its working area so that the number of K6 reaches 100%
