Abstract
Stunting is a major problem regarding the quality of human resources and is also a threat to the nation's competitive ability in the future. Stunting is a problem that occurs in children under five due to lack of nutrition, which causes growth disorders in the body and delays in thinking ability. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Stunting Reduction Policy at the Huragi Community Health Center, Padang Lawas Regency in 2024.
This type of research uses qualitative methods. Data collection methods were in-depth interviews, documentation and obtaining data from the Huragi Community Health Center. The research informants were taken purposively, totaling 6 people, namely the Health Service nutrition program, the Head of the Community Health Center, the Community Health Center Nutrition Program, the Village Midwife, and 2 Parents of Toddlers. Data analysis uses triangulation of sources and theories. This research uses the implementation theory of George C. Edward III.
The results of this research show that the results of research on the implementation of stunting reduction policies have gone well. This is proven by the stunting rate in Padang Lawas Regency decreasing every year. It is recommended that health workers continue to monitor public health, especially children under five, from pregnancy to delivery, to continue monitoring children's health so that there is no increase in stunting rates in Padang Lawas Regency
