Introduction: The incidence of stroke in the world is about 15 million people every year and results in the death of 5 million people and permanent disability of 5 million people. The rate of death and disability due to hemorrhagic stroke, which is a hemorrhagic stroke compared to ischemic stroke, is much higher and more fatal. The prevalence of stroke in Indonesia alone is 10.9% of the entire population. Several studies have found that the examination of S100β protein levels can be a functional predictor in acute stroke patients. Elevated C-Reactive Protein (CRP) as a marker of inflammation in clinical settings in hemorrhagic stroke. Currently, CRP is widely proposed as a risk assessment tool and prognostic marker in hemorrhagic stroke. Increased levels of S100β and blood CRP according to the literature can predict the outcome of patients with hemorrhagic stroke. Researchers wanted to examine the relationship between levels of Protein S100 and CRP in blood serum on the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) of acute hemorrhagic stroke patients at Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan. Methods: Analytical study with a prospective cohort design. Samples were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria from hemorrhagic stroke patients at H. Adam Malik Hospital Medan in 2021. Result: A significance value of 0.9 (r: 1.0) was obtained on the results of the analysis of the relationship between S100β levels and GCS and 0.26 (r: 1.0) on the results of the analysis of CRP on GCS. Conclussion: There was no correlation between S100β protein levels and CRP on GCS of acute hemorrhagic stroke patients at HAM Hospital in 2021.en_US
