The Influence of The Village-Owned Enterprise Programme on Poverty Alleviation in Durin Tonggal Village, Pancur Batu Sub-District, Deli Serdang District
Abstract
BUMDes are defined as legal entities formed by villages to manage village
businesses, utilise assets, develop investment and productivity, provide services,
and provide other types of businesses for the welfare of the village community.
BUMDes in Durin Tonggal Village, Pancur Batu Sub-district, Deli Serdang
Regency has the name Sehati which is engaged in the type of service business,
namely credit.
This type of research is quantitative research. This study aims to determine
how the influence of BUMDes on poverty alleviation in Durin Tonggal Village,
Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency, The data used in this study are
primary data by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents who are Durin
Tonggal Village Community who participate in BUMDes. The data analysis
method uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.
The results of this study are that there are differences in turnover
(revenue), expenditure and profit of the Durin Tonggal village community before
and after participating in the BUMDes. The Sehati Credit Programme in Durin
Tonggal village is considered feasible and can continue and be followed by the
community with the aim of increasing community income in Durin Tonggal village
and as one of the efforts in poverty alleviation.
