    Abstract
    The current era of globalization, the world of business and business is developing very rapidly, creating opportunities and challenges. This is followed by a human lifestyle that moves quickly, causing people to want things, including food, instantly. It is not surprising that today's people prefer to consume fast food. By consuming fast food, a person increases their intake of energy, fat and sugar excessively. Fast food also has low fiber and high sodium. The results of a survey conducted on students of the Faculty of Public Health in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, where each staff consisted of 10 people, and it was found that the 2022 & 2023 students consumed more fast food, where 5 out of 10 people in each stambuk stated that they consume fast food 2-3 times a week. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between peers and online food services with fast food consumption behavior among students at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive research with a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara in Maret-June 2024. The population in this study were all students from the Faculty of Public Health at USU in 2022 and 2023. The sample used in this research was 87 people using a simple random sampling technique. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between peers and fast food consumption behavior among students at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara and there is a relationship between online food services and fast food consumption behavior among students at the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.041 or p -value < 0.05. So the health promotion efforts that can be carried out in this research are counseling and education on fast food consumption
