The Local Government Information System (SIPD) is a form of embodiment of innovation formulated by the central government to assist in the implementation of local government. The central government hopes that this system will be able to create good governance. In 2024 the Ministry of Home Affairs created the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) application which has developed from the latest version to SIPD RI. The latest version of SIPD will be mandatory for all local governments in Indonesia starting from the 2024 fiscal year. This study discusses the general overview of SIPD, the budget planning process using SIPD that has been implemented by the Medan City DPRD Secretariat, and the readiness of the Medan City DPRD Secretariat in implementing the latest version of SIPD in FY 2024. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Secretariat of the Medan City DPRD has implemented SIPD, especially in carrying out budget planning, and is considered adequately ready to implement the latest version of the SIPD policy in FY 2024 because of the six aspects of the A Model of the Policy Implementation theory, everything has been fulfilled well.
