| dc.description.abstract | This paper describes the characteristics and meaning of life of Gorga Boraspati for the Batak Toba community. Theoretically, to answer the research problem, it is related to the history of the Batak Tradition regarding Gorga Boraspati. The writing method used in this paper is descriptive qualitative, to find and collect data in the form of information about the characteristics of gorga boraspati such as the lizard tail, striped body, dark reddish color, lizard neck, lizard eyes, and the meaning of life as a protector of the house, land, village, as a sign of danger, as a symbol of life and fertility, and also as a symbol of the adaptability of Gorga Boraspati life for the Batak Toba community, the data is obtained through books or even the internet or journals. The results of this study indicate that Gorga Boraspati has a very important and deep meaning for the Batak Toba community. Therefore, Gorga Boraspati is very attached to the Batak Toba community and will never be separated from the Batak Toba community. | en_US |
