A Description of The Origin of The Nasution Clan in Mandailing Natal

Abstract

This paper decribes the origin and descendant line of Nation Clan. Desriptive qualitative methods are applied in this study in order to find and collect data such as information and the answer from the information by reading books, journals, searching in Google, and doing a casual interview. The results of this study serve to preserve the cultural values and moral values contained in the origin or history of the Nasution Clan and their Genealogy. The Rambah Rokan Hulu version, Sibaroar, who was known for his bravery, was the son of Sutan Iskandar Muda Pitala Guru, also known as Sutan Penyalinan, and Suri Andung Jati, also known as Sutan Perempuan. Sutan Iskandar Muda is a descendant of Sutan Mahmud Syah from the Kingdom of Iraq, and Sutan Harunurrasyid from the Kingdom of Baghdad, Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula. Suri Andung Jati, on the other hand, is a descendant of Sutan Sinomba Sinoru from the Kayangan Kingdom in Lumban Julu, Indonesia.
