An analysis of the determination of C-Organic levels in soil has been carried out using the spectrophotometric method in the soil laboratory of the pusat penelitian kelapa sawit. The aim of this analysis is to determine the C-Organic content contained in soil samples at the oil palm research center. knowing the C-Organic content of the soil sample, you can also find out the fertility level of the soil and you can also find out the factors that influence the value of the C-Organic capacity. The method used for this analysis is spectrophotometry, where 5 ml of K2Cr2O7 and 7.5 ml of H2SO4 are added to the sample, then diluted with distilled water to the upper limit mark, then a wavelength scan is first carried out on a spectrophotometer using a standard series comparator. The results of the analysis, the C-Organic values of the soil were 1.02%, 1.90%, 1.26%, 1.02%, 0.90%, respectively. And with the results obtained, it can be concluded that the C-Organic capacity of the soil is low.en_US
