This research aims to determine the influence of Machiavellian nature, locus of control, task complexity and turnover intention on the dysfunctional behavior of internal auditors at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan. The data used in this research is primary data. The respondents in this study were the internal supervisory unit or internal auditor at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan, while the sample for this study was determined by saturated sampling and obtained 35 respondents. The research results show that Machiavellian traits have a positive effect on auditors' dysfunctional behavior, locus of control has a negative effect on auditors' dysfunctional behavior, task complexity has no effect on auditors' dysfunctional behavior and turnover intention has no effect on auditors' dysfunctional behavior. Simultaneously Machiavellian nature, locus of control, task complexity and turnover intention influence the dysfunctional behavior of internal auditors at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan.
