dc.description.abstractThe discussion in this paper focuses on the values and the impacts of multiculturalism in David Yoon’s novel Frankly in Love. The novel Frankly in Love by David Yoon tells about Frank, the main character in the novel, experience culture differences in America. Frank vulnerably shares his experiences being caught between two cultural realities. David Yoon, the author, draws on his own experience growing up with immigrant parents to breathe life and authenticity into Frank’s character. The author read the whole story of the novel to collect the data that related to multiculturalism and get some references from books and internet. In writing this paper, the writer used a descriptive qualitative method and library research as the method of study. The purpose of this paper is to present and introduce about multiculturalism because multiculturalism is very important for daily life so that it can lead to a more peaceful society in this culturally diverse world.en_US
