Abstract

Siosar is a region built by the President for synthesize refugees in Karo district's brand name has a natural and cultural potential that remains intact and authentic to this day. The purpose of the paper writing of the work is to know the potential of siosar areas asa tourist attraction as well as the role of people in developing them. Research methods used are library research books and interviews. The result of this study is the potential for the region of siosar that holds a beautiful panorama of the destination of nature tourism and vast foothills, and then the cultural potential in the siosar region lies in the Karo culture still used by the people to this day.
