Medan city is the capital of North Sumatra. The city of Medan is one of the cities in Indonesia which is rich in the potential for historical building heritage, both from the Dutch and from the glorious kingdoms of ancient times, so that it can avoid further decline in the physical, functional and visual character of the city center area. The location of the Kesawan area was the beginning of the development of the modern city of Medan, which began to be established at the end of the 16th century and developed in the early 1800s. The citywalk concept is actually a concept where a city is oriented towards pedestrians and open space as public space. The research method used in this final assignment is library, descriptive and field research methods. The results of this final assignment show that the development and revitalization of this area can create new tourism potential in the city of Medan.en_US
