Analisis Efisiensi Menggunakan Metode DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) di Tempat Pelelangan Ikan di Kota Sibolga

Abstract

The study aims to determine the efficiency level of of fish auction siites ( Tempat Pelelangan Ikan, TPI) using the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) method in the research area. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, seelecting three units : TPI PPN Sibolga, TPI Muara and TPI Labuan Anging.. The data source used was secondary data collected through Annual Reports. Data collection was conducted through documentation and literature review. The analysis method used was DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis)with input variable indicators used: floor area, base length, number of boats, number of baskets, number of fishing gear, number of boats, number of scales, number of baskets, number of carts and indicators on the variables output used: Production amount. The research results show that TPI PPN Sibolga achieved high efficiency with a score of 83.28%, TPI Muara achieved moderate efficiency with a score of 64.35% and TPI Labuan Angin achieved low efficiency with a score of 42.8%. The fish auction sites in Sibolga can enhance fishermen's productivity by providing subsidies to fishermen, offering modern, environmentally friendly fishing gear, technical training and guidance for fishermen and organizing fisheries business permits. increasing fisherman productivity can increase the production quantity. Wich in turn affects efficiency of the fish auction sites.
