Statistical Quality Control dalam Menganalisis Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) di Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Regency/City Minimum Wages (UMK) in North Sumatra using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. SQC is a technique used to control and manage manufacturing and service processes using statistical methods. In the context of (UMK) analysis, SQC is relevant because UMK influence many aspects of people's economic life. This research uses UMK data in North Sumatra for the last 5 years. Data analysis was carried out using the X̅ (average) control chart and the R (Range) control chart to see whether the UMK in each district/city were within the control limits or not. The research results show that there are several districts/cities that are outside the control limits of the average UMK in North Sumatra, so improvement and control efforts are needed to achieve optimal UMK.
