Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Kemiskinan di Kota Pematang Siantar

Abstract

Poverty is a situation where a person is unable to fulfill their daily needs. Poverty not only affects the low quality of life and limited access to basic needs, but also hampers the overall development process. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Data obtained through the North Sumatra Central Bureau of Statistics and the object of this research is Pematang Siantar City. In this study the independent variables used are Economic Growth, Open Unemployment Rate, Labor Force Participation Rate, Inflation, and Human Development Index (HDI), while the dependent variable used in this study is the number of poor people. The data is processed by multiple linear regression analysis method. After the data is processed, the regression equation is obtained: Ŷ = 191,544−0,155X1−0,690X2−0,131X3−0,245X4−1,933X5.. After getting the regression equation, a simultaneous test can be carried out which is obtained F count (2,077) < F table (19,25) which means that there is no effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable simultaneously.
