Adolescent age 10-18 years is a period of nutritional vulnerability because adolescents require higher nutrients for increased growth and development of the body. Nutritional fulfillment in students is highly dependent on the organization of food in boarding schools. The nutrient intake of students who live in dormitories tends to be less than students who do not live in dormitories. This is because the amount of food available in the dormitory, regulations on food in the dormitory, and students' acceptance of food are generally lower than at home. This study aims to determine the relationship between food acceptability and nutritional adequacy of students. This study used a quantitative method with a cross sectional research design. Based on the results of the Spearman Rank Correlation test, it was found that there was a relationship between food acceptability and the adequacy of energy, carbohydrates, protein and fat (p value = 0.000; 0.000; 0.000; 0.024), there was no relationship between food acceptability and calcium adequacy (p value = 0.224), there was a relationship between food acceptability and zinc and iron adequacy (p value = 0.000; 0.000), there is a relationship between food acceptability and vitamin A and E adequacy (p value = 0.000; 0.000), and there is no relationship between food acceptability and vitamin C adequacy (p value = 0.201). To improve and maintain the nutritional intake of students, boarding schools can communicate between dormitory administrators with parents and boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools should to review and direct the quality of food available from the kitchen and food in the canteen so that the nutritional adequacy can be increaseen_US
