dc.description.abstractThis paper entitled "A Description of Burying Ari-Ari in Javanese Culture" aims to describe and elaborate the practice and cultural meaning and function of burying the ari-ari in Javanese society. The method used in this writing is a collection technique through reading and understanding books, journals and articles related to the tradition of burying the ari-ari as well as casual interviews while observing the process of burying the ari-ari directly and re-watching the steps for burying the ari-ari through YouTube platform. This research concludes that the tradition of burying the ari-ari in Javanese culture is not just a ritual, but is also a reflection of a complex value system that integrates social, spiritual and health aspects.en_US
