Quality of Life, Degree of Dyspnea and Fatigue in Survivors of COVID-19 as Health Workers at Haji Adam Malik Hospital

Background : COVID-19 has devastated all aspects of health system. Phenomena of Post-COVID-19 syndrome has been public concern since 2020. It is increasing in midle of community. Paska Covid-19 syndrome bring a change of lung function manifestated by alteration of quality of life, shortness of breath that impacts their activity and persistent fatigue.
Methods : This research is an analytical research with cross-sectional, data collected through interviews and questionnaires, analyzed with chi-square by SPSS 25. The research participant is a healthworker at the Adam Malik Haji Hospital which is the survivors of Covid-19 in 2020-2022
Result : Most of COVID survivors are women in a proportion (86%) with the most age group of 31-45 years (45%), pre-existing comorbid (42%), treatment history (25%), Paska Covid syndrome (76%). There are 5 people (5%) with changes in quality of life in the dimensions of pain/discomfort mild degrees (2%), medium (2%). Then anxious/mild depression (4%). In this study, the degree of shortness of survivors assesed with MMRC (23%), (6%), (2%), found a significant relationship with the Post Covid-19 (p = 0.006) syndrome. Persistent fatigue found (28%) and extreme fatigue (1%) where there is a significant relationship to the history of oxygenation (p = 0.010) and the presence of post covid-19 (p = 0.041) syndrome.
Conclusion : No finding of factors that related to the survivor's quality of life. History of using oxygenation had significant relation to dyspnea degree, then we found history of COVID-19 degree, using oxygenation and post COVID-19 syndrome related significantly to fatigue after COVID-19.
