    Abstract
Research has been carried out on the effect of adding Fly Ash from different sources on IR (Insoluble Residue) Compressive Strength of cement, it was found that the Insoluble Residue value in the Blank sample was 10.86%, the Insoluble Residue value in the Fly Ash X sample (2%) was 13.56% , and the Insoluble Residue value in the Fly Ash Y sample (2%) was 15.88%. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the highest Insoluble Residue value was obtained by the Fly Ash Y (2%) sample of 15.88%. The Compressive Strength value in the Blank sample for the 3rd day test was 185.9624 Kg/cm2, for the 7th day test it was 226.6589 Kg/cm2, for the 28th day test it was 337.8470 Kg/cm2. In the Fly Ash X sample (2%) for the 3rd day of the test it was 196.4350 Kg/cm2, for the 7th day it was 232.3248 Kg/cm2, for the 28th day it was 350.8311 Kg/cm2. In the Fly Ash Y sample (2%) for the 3rd day of testing it was 187.3800 Kg/cm2, for the 7th day of testing it was 228.3720 Kg/cm2, for the 28th day it was 342.5784 Kg/cm2. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the highest Compressive Strength value was obtained by Fly Ash X (2%) compared to Fly Ash Y (2%) and Blank. For PCC cement there is no quality standard regarding the Insoluble Residual value, when the Compressive Strength value meets the SNI 7064-2014 standard, the insoluble residue value also complies. It can be seen that the higher the Insoluble Residue value, the lower the compressive strength of the cement.
