Optimalisasi Alokasi Tenaga Kerja dengan Penerapan Resource Leveling (Studi Kasus: Proyek Pembangunan Kolam Galatama)
Optimizing Labor Allocation by Implementing Resource Leveling (Case Study : Galatama Pool Construction Project)
Abstract
In general, projects are limited by time, cost and resources. Resources themselves consist of materials, equipment and labor. Especially for labor, this resource cannot be hoarded or stored so that it can be used when needed. So workforce management becomes very decisive based on these considerations. The most frequent problem in workforce management is fluctuation. This research aims to minimize labor fluctuations within a project, so as to obtain the most optimal labor histogram. This research uses the Resource Leveling method to obtain more optimal workforce fluctuations compared to initial project planning. By utilizing the available float or slack, network relationships can be arranged in such a way that optimal workforce management is obtained compared to the initial planning. The highest workforce requirement before leveling is 95 people. Apart from that, August 27 showed a significant decrease in the number of labor requirements from 67 workers to 49 workers. Meanwhile, on September 3, the number of labor requirements increased again from 49 workers to 66 workers. Meanwhile, after implementing Resource Leveling, the highest workforce requirement was 81 people. Apart from that, the daily allocation of labor is more evenly distributed
