dc.description.abstract | Leachate can pollute the environment around the Final Processing Site (TPA) if not
treated properly, so it can potentially harm living things in the water. The Leachate
Treatment Plant can cope with all types of pollutants but not the level of toxicity and will
worsen the pollution problem, so it is necessary to conduct a toxicity test for 96 hours
and the test animal used is the goldfish (Cypynus carpio L). The purpose of this study was
to analyze the LC50 contained in the leachate of the TPA Terjun which killed 50% of the
goldfish for 98 hours, and to analyze the toxicity level of leachate in the Plunge Landfill
against goldfish. This research was carried out from waste sampling, acclimatization of
test animals, preliminary tests, definitive tests, and probit analysis. The results of the
characteristics of leachate are pH of 7.22 in drainage leachate and 8.15 in outlet
leachate, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) value in drainage of 1137 mg/l and at outlet
87.2 mg/l, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) value of drainage of 3750 mg/l and at outlet
of 165 mg/l, TSS of drainage of 106 mg/l and outlet of 32 mg/l, N Total drainage is 15.98
mg/l and N Total outlet is 224 mg/l, Mercury drainage is 0.000109 mg/l and outlet is
0.000124 mg/L, Cadmium drainage is 0.040 mg/L and outlet is 0.038 mg/L | en_US |
