Background
In carrying out their work in the health sector, doctors generally conduct medical examinations, treatment, treatment and determine the prognosis of patients in order to improve and improve the quality of health. In addition, doctors can also conduct medical examinations in order to conduct medicolegal assessments of patient health that are used for law enforcement purposes, both on living and dead people. In this case, the work of doctors for legal purposes is outlined in the form of a report, namely Visum et Repertum. Visum et Repertum has a role in proving a criminal case both against human physical and mental health. In article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code, it is written that VeR can function as valid evidence in the judicial process, so it is expected that VeR provides sufficient information for law enforcement, especially judges, in making court decisions. For this purpose, a good quality VeR is needed.
Method
This study was conducted by collecting secondary data, namely Visum et Repertum on living victims conducted at the Puskesmas and Regional General Hospital of Dairi Regency in the period January 2022 to December 2023 and the data listed the variables to be studied in accordance with the specific objectives of this study. Visum et Repertum is collected and recorded and tabulated with the types of variables to be examined based on the framework of writing visum, description of injuries to victims, age, gender, and profiles of doctors who conduct examinations on victims who make the VeR.
Result:
The quality of VeR for preliminary wounds (Projustitia) is 100% (good). The quality of VeR for preliminary injuries (place of examination, time of examination, data of subjects examined, data of requesters for examination, data of examining doctors) was 41% (not good). The quality of VeR injuries in the news section is 50% (moderate). The quality of VeR wound part of the conclusion is 50% (moderate). The quality of VeR wound cover is 0% (not good.) So it can be concluded that the quality of VeR injuries of live victims in Puskesmas and Dairi Regency Hospital is 49,4% (not good).
