The phenomenon of death anxiety occurs in conditions faced by breast cancer patients during their long breast cancer treatment. This study aims to determine whether social support has a role in moderating resilience on death anxiety. This study used purposive sampling technique and involved 260 breast cancer patients in Medan. Data collection used three scales, namely the resilience scale, death anxiety scale, and social support scale. The analysis technique used in this study was moderation regression analysis. The results showed that social support provides a moderating effect that strengthens the influence of resilience on death anxiety in breast cancer patients. The implication of this study is that social support strengthens the influence of resilience on death anxiety by 40%.
