Analisis Kadar Air dan Kadar Kotoran terhadap Kualitas Crude Palm Oil (CPO) di PT. Sumber Sawit Makmur Laut Tador Tebing Tinggi

Abstract

Analysis of determining water content and impurity content has been carried out on Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Sumber Sawit Makmur Laut Tador. Water content is determined using a Moisturizer Analyzer. And analysis of impurity content is determined using the Filtration/Screening and drying method. From the results of the analysis obtained, the water content in tank 500 was 0.17% at the top of the tank, 0.19% in the middle of the tank and 0.22 at the bottom of the tank and the water content was in tank 2000 respectively. - respectively 0.11% at the top of the tank, 0.13% in the middle of the tank and 0.16% at the bottom of the tank. And the dirt content obtained was 0.03% in tank 500 and 0.01% in tank 2000. The average water content obtained was 0.21% and dirt content was 0.09%. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that Crude Palm Oil (CPO) still meets quality standards for water content and impurity content. Based on SNI 01-2901-2006 concerning Water Content and Impurity Content in Crude Palm Oil (CPO). The quality standard value for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is for water content < 0.5% and impurity content < 0.5%.
