Perbandingan Analisis Tiga Periode Produk Domestik Regional Bruto Menurut Lapangan Usaha Provinsi Sumatera Utara Menggunakan Metode K-Means Clustering

Abstract

In the midst of economic movements, North Sumatra has become an interesting place for the metamorphosis of the regional economic structure. GRDP data by field business in North Sumatra province was analyzed using the K-Means Clustering algorithm for three time periods to identify regional economic patterns and characteristics. The analysis was carried out in three different time periods using SPSS and R analysis software. The results of the analysis will not only show differences in sector groupings in each period, but also identify sectors with high growth and sectors with relatively low growth. These findings provide critical insight into the dynamics of the North Sumatra economy, as well as provide strategic insight for policy makers for more inclusive and adaptive economic development or strategies.
