Penerapan Analisis Jalur terhadap Faktor- Faktor yang Mempengaruhi IPM di Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada Tahun 2023

Abstract

The Human Development Index is a measure used to measure the achievement of human development in a region. Therefore, this research discusses the influence of Life Expectancy (UHH), Expected Years of Schooling (HLS), and Gini Ratio Index (IGR) and Real Per Capita Expenditure (PRP) on the Human Development Index (HDI) in North Sumatra Province. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra Province. The data analysis technique used in this research is Path Analysis which is processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 27. The research results of this study show that there is a significant simultaneous influence between the variables life expectancy, expected years of schooling, Gini ratio index, and real per capita expenditure on the human development index Y = 0,256!! + 0,241!" + 0,073!# + 0,466" + 0,256.The factor that most influences the human development index is real per capita expenditure. The simultaneous effect is 93,4% and the remaining 25,6% is explained by other variables not included in the research.
