HSB Yatim Tailor is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in the garment industry, specializing in the production of various clothing items such as shirts, jackets, t-shirts, pants, suits, dresses, and vests. The production process of shirts faces challenges due to wastage in the form of fabric scraps and defective products. This study aims to identify and propose solutions to eliminate waste using Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, and the Ranked Position Weight approach. The results of the Value Stream Mapping analysis revealed three types of waste: waste of waiting, waste of processing, and waste of defect. Proposed improvements included line balancing using the Ranked Position Weight approach, creation of warning boards, and utilization of templates. The implementation of these improvements resulted in a reduction in workstations to 7 with 23 process activities, a decrease in manufacturing lead time by 245.28 seconds, an increase in process cycle efficiency by 8.443%, and a reduction in process velocity by 0.014 processes/hour, thereby effectively eliminating waste and improving production efficiency
